Yasaman Hoorazar

Yasaman Hoorazar, RA, co-founder of Studio Y&A, has a uniquely rich cultural and educational background. Born in Iran, Yasaman's journey in design began with her pursuit of graphic design, giving her a keen sense of color theory and palette, before transitioning to architecture. She obtained her Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY, following a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Maryland.

Yasaman resides in New York City with her supportive husband and elementary-age children. Having lived in New York City for over two decades, Yasaman has immersed herself in its dynamic architectural landscape, thriving off the energy of the City she calls home, having worked at prestigious international firms such as HOK, Gensler, and IA. 

As a Registered Architect in the state of New York, Yasaman is dedicated to excellence, crafting spaces that harmonize functionality with aesthetic allure.


Arianna Sacks Rosenberg

Arianna, co-founder of Studio Y&A and native New Yorker, holds a Masters Degree from Harvard in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. With a diverse professional background, Arianna has honed her skills at prominent organizations such as the Hudson Companies, where she served as a Director working on the world’s first residential high-rise Passive House building at CornellTECH. Her expertise in budgeting and project organization, evidenced by her adeptness with spreadsheets, has earned her acclaim from Studio Y&A clients who find this specific skill invaluable during the design process.

Arianna's journey in the architectural realm, before co-founding Studio Y&A, includes time at firms such as starchitect Rafael Viñoly's office. Her experiences in these esteemed environments have enriched her creative perspective and refined her approach to design and development.

Residing in the picturesque setting of Port Washington, New York, Arianna finds inspiration in the natural beauty of her surroundings, drawing on the lush landscapes of the North Shore of Long Island. Supported by her loving husband and two elementary-age children. Often traversing between Port Washington and New York City, Arianna's work is a marriage of practicality and beauty that evokes joy in every space.
